Bonnie Burstow, PhD, a university professor, feminist psychotherapist, and antipsychiatry activist and scholar, died on January 4, 2020, in Toronto, Canada. Bonnie Judith Grower was born on March 6, 1945, in Winnipeg, Canada. Burstow obtained a bachelor's degree in philosophy and English (Manitoba), a master's degree in English (Toronto), a Master of Education degree in educational theory (Toronto), and a doctorate in educational theory with a focus on adult education and counseling psychology in 1982 (Toronto).
