Abstract

This review covers the recent applications of iodocarbocyclization reactions in synthetic organic chemistry over the last few decades. A variety of carbocycles and heterocycles could be synthesized by iodocarbocyclization reactions. The important applications of iodocarbocyclization reaction in synthetic organic chemistry cover up different features that have been consolidated in this review.
