The literature relating to extracellular vesicles (EVs) has grown exponentially in the past decade and EVs are now acknowledged to be important in many aspects of biology. However, because this is a relatively new field, many researchers are relatively unaware of the wide range of roles of EVs. In this Special Issue we have brought together a collection of twelve manuscripts that between them cover most of the important issues relating to EVs in reproductive biology/immunology and related areas. Each review is authored by acknowledged experts in the specific topic on which they have written. We hope this issue will be of benefit to many readers of the AJRI, as well as general readers.
