Authors are required to submit an abstract to the Editor-in-Chief to ensure relevance of a paper topic before submission of a full paper. Together with the abstract, the authors shall include a cover letter that describes why their proposed paper is of interest to the general DEIS membership (200 words), why their proposed paper is timely and important (100 words) and how they would characterize their paper, i.e. as a review or tutorial.
