‐Finite‐time stabilization of continuous‐time systems with optimal performance

In this article, we are concerned with the urn:x-wiley:oca:media:oca2693:oca2693-math-0004‐finite‐time stabilization (urn:x-wiley:oca:media:oca2693:oca2693-math-0005‐FTS) with optimal performance for the continuous‐time system. The definition of urn:x-wiley:oca:media:oca2693:oca2693-math-0006‐FTS is first proposed. The main contribution is to give the equivalent conditions for the open‐loop solvability and sufficient conditions for the closed‐loop solvability of the urn:x-wiley:oca:media:oca2693:oca2693-math-0007‐FTS problem with optimal performance for the finite‐time interval. Moreover, we show that the irregular optimal control problem is solvable under the urn:x-wiley:oca:media:oca2693:oca2693-math-0008‐FTS of a specific system.
