Influence of the Formation Conditions and Parameters of Defects on Carrier Transport in Nanocrystalline Cobalt Oxide

Abstract

The structural and electrical properties of samples made of nanostructured cobalt oxide prepared by thermal decomposition and electrospinning (as well as the characteristics of their paramagnetic defects) have been investigated. A correlation is found between the conductivity of the obtained material and its structural parameters, depending on the synthesis method. It is revealed by electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy that the conductivity of nanostructured cobalt oxide is determined by both the concentration of defects and their characteristics.
