The long-awaited ICRP Publication 137 issued in 2017 brought us the new dose conversion coefficients in black and white. From the first moment, we were clear on the main topic for the 9th Conference on Protection against Radon at Home and at Work. New values of the conversion factor for the calculation of effective dose from inhalation of radon and its progenies bring us new challenges, mainly in the area of workers' protection. This was our starting point for discussions, to which we have invited our Conference participants.
