The structures and phase compositions of a series of refractory alloys of the Co – Al – Mo – Nb system (the cobalt angle) are studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and scanning microscopy. The effect of the contents of niobium and molybdenum on the phase composition and the temperature boundaries of the range of existence of the Co3(Al, Mo, Nb) intermetallic phase are determined.
