Wenzel and Kubiak (1) reanalyze our data (2) and conclude that 1) there is overlap between the relative SD (RSD) (3) and mean of negative emotion and 2) after controlling for this overlap, the RSD weakly but significantly predicts neuroticism. We question both points and note that these findings leave our conclusions unchanged.
