Abstract

In this comment on Eric Gibson's comprehensive paper on "The role of p-values in judging the strength of evidence and realistic replication expectations" we extend the discussion on the use of p-values to judge the strength of evidence to complex clinical trials. We adress adjusted p-values for group sequential and adaptive trials, trials with multi treatment arms, endpoints and subgroups as well as platform trials.
