Abstract

Traditional coal-processing technology is compared with Fast Engineering® technology developed on the basis of catalytic reactors, heat exchangers, mass-transfer systems, and other innovative equipment. Operational experience is described. The economic, operational, and environmental benefits of the new technology are noted, and means of using the products in gasification are described.
