We present the result of additional high-speed photometric observation of HD 137949. The Johnson-B photometric data were obtained on five nights between 2013 July 31, and August 19, using 0.5-m optical telescope of the South African Astronomical Observatory (SAAO). Frequency analysis of our nightly data sets as well as combination of all data sets reveal no new oscillation besides the well-known principal frequency of oscillation (mHz). However, frequency analysis of a combination of our current data set and the old data set acquired few months earlier reveals that the principal frequency of oscillation has remained stable at mHz for over three decades. Two new secondary frequencies were also detected on either side of the principal frequency at mHz and mHz. We discuss all possible implications as regards this recent excitation of and vis-a-vis the mystery surrounding the oscillations and real rotation period of HD 137949.
