Acoustic Spectroscopy of Ceramic–Matrix Piezocompozites

Abstract

A new way of determining the dielectric and electromechanical characteristics of piezoelectric materials with high elastic losses is proposed. The complex electrophysical parameters of a ceramic matrix piezocomposite (a PZT-type porous ferro-piezoceramic with randomly distributed pores) are measured. The frequency dependences of the complex parameters are measured via piezoresonance spectra analysis. Anomalies of the frequency dependences of the complex elastic moduli of ceramic-matrix piezocomposites are revealed and interpreted.
