Research on the Production Decline Law of Junlian Coalbed Methane Development Test Well

Considering the production decline law of coal-bed methane wells, production decline can be divided into three types: exponential decline, hyperbolic decline, and harmonic decline. Research on the production decline law is very important for evaluation of CBM productivity. In this paper we have studied the law of production decline in Junlian region and established the production decline type for low, medium, and high production wells. The paper also describes the dynamic reserves calculation and recovery evaluation methods and steps using FAST-CBM coal-bed methane reservoir analysis system software.
