Visibly reactivated: A photoactivatable fluorescent amino acid thioacridonylalanine, designed based on thio‐caging strategy, has been genetically incorporated at specific sites in proteins in a single step. It can be successfully turned on at both small‐molecule and protein levels by visible light.
