Purpose: Medication adherence research involving adolescent and young adult (AYA) oncology patients has consisted of small, retrospective studies demonstrating poor adherence rates. Technology plays an active role in attempt to improve medication adherence. There is a growing body of literature investigating the role of smartphone applications (apps). We hypothesized a medication phone app, MedActionPlan Pro (MPP), leads to perceived improvement in medication adherence.
