Abstract
A phenomenological model describing fatigue damage accumulation by using a tensor measure of the accumulated damage caused by different cyclic stresses is presented for estimating numerically the fatigue life of carbon fibre-reinforced plastics operating under complex stress state conditions. A procedure for calculating the fatigue life by using the presented model is given. An example demonstrating acceptable agreement between experimental and calculated data is presented.中文翻译:
