Abstract

The authors of the report simulated the existing modulator circuit, identified shortcomings, and developed a klystron modulator based on IJBT transistors in order to increase the power and improve the characteristics of the accelerated electron beam of the LINAC-200 accelerator. The calculation model with a detailed description of the individual elements of the modulator is presented in this research.
