Abstract Basically, the spacesuit is a small but complete spacecraft. It shall provide an astronaut/cosmonaut almost all functions of a spacecraft, but for much shorter time and basic protections. Since there are many primary as well as secondary function requirements, the spacesuit designs were driven since the very beginning by those functions in the late 1950s. The spacesuit developments in both US and Soviet-Russia were designed by adapting and following the baselines of high-altitude pressure suits developed since the 1930s. For 60 years, from 1960 to 2020, there have been many evolutions and revolutions in spacesuit designs. However, it goes without saying that the most fashion styling designed with aesthetics features considered are the Demo-2 spacesuit by SpaceX and the Starliner spacesuit by Boeing. This paper reviews and discusses those evolutions and revolutions systematically focusing on the styling and design aesthetics in spacesuits for the Demo-2 crew members and the future Straliner flights. The new spacesuits, either by SpaceX or by Boeing, have been commented to be sleek, spiffy, fashioned, stylish, noble, elegant, beautiful and with high technology features.
