Lighting up: We have developed a pyrimido‐quinoxaline fused, highly fluorescent, water‐soluble small molecule with a piperazine tail that can bind tRNA in the central region (overlapping the Mg2+ binding site) and cause a fluorescence enhancement. This binding complements the area of negative electrostatic potential created by 3D tRNA folding.
