A Projection Method for Solving Systems of Linear Equations: Gravimetry Applications

Existing methods for solving inverse problems, such as the regularization method, look mostly for a quasi-solution that may not be a solution to the original problem, but only approximate it. The technique proposed in this article allows us to describe the set of solutions that satisfy the problem and find the solution that best fits the existing a priori information about the distribution of model properties based on these equivalent solutions.
