ABSTRACT

Maleimides, due to their unsaturated cycle, represent a starting point in obtaining the synthetic compounds in the organic and macromolecular chemistry. The applications of the compounds based on mono- and bismaleimides are varied in different fields. This study aims to show and discuss the applications of these compounds in the last decades and is structured in chronological order, depending on their domain.
