We examined the effect of the discharge tube temperature on the densities of ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/1347-4065/59/9/098002/jjapabaebdieqn3.gif] {${{\rm{N}}}_{2}({A}^{3}{{\rm{\Sigma }}}_{u}^{+})$} and ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/1347-4065/59/9/098002/jjapabaebdieqn4.gif] {${\rm{N}}{(}^{4}{S}^{{\rm{o}}})$} in microwave-excited remote nitrogen plasma. The density of ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/1347-4065/59/9/098002/jjapabaebdieqn5.gif] {${\rm{N}}{(}^{4}{S}^{{\rm{o}}})$} and the rotational temperature of ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/1347-4065/59/9/098002/jjapabaebdieqn6.gif] {${{\rm{N}}}_{2}({C}^{3}{{\rm{\Pi }}}_{u})$} were constant against the discharge tube temperature between 30 °C and 400 °C, whereas we observed the decrease in the ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/1347-4065/59/9/098002/jjapabae...] {${{\rm{N}}}_{2}({A}^{3}{{\rm{\Sigma }}}_{u}^{+})$}
