Exact Autonomous Invariants of Nonlinear Chemical Reactions

Abstract

The exact autonomous (time-independent) kinetic invariants of nonlinear chemical reactions occurring in open systems with the participation of an independent and any number of dependent reactants were determined. These invariants are relations that remain constant throughout the reaction, and they relate the unsteady concentrations of the reactants measured in several experiments with different initial conditions (in multi-experiments). The calculation of the invariants of nonlinear reactions with two, three, and four reactants was exemplified. The results obtained can be useful in solving inverse problems of unsteady chemical kinetics and in modeling processes in isothermal perfect-mixing reactors.
