Classification of Disperse-Filled Polymer Composite Materials on the Basis of Lattice Type and Structure Principle

The construction of structures of disperse-filled polymer composite materials (DFPCMs) is considered taking into account various lattice types and packing densities of the disperse particles and from the perspective of the model for the description of the disperse structure in terms of generalized parameters. The correlation dependences between lattice parameters Z and kpack and generalized structure parameter Θ of DFPCMs are presented, which makes it possible to classify all the disperse systems on the basis of the structure principle. It is shown that all the DFPCMs can be divided into five main groups on the basis of the structure principle, namely, diluted, low-filled, medium-filled, high-filled, and ultra-high-filled. The boundary conditions of the transition of DFPCMs from one group to another are presented.
