In mid-March, IABSE Symposium Wrocław 2020 Organisers, in collaboration with IABSE, took the quick and well-judged decision to postpone the Symposium to 7–9 October 2020 for everyone’s safety and well-being. Soon after this decision, a travel ban was imposed by many countries. Looking back, for us it was a tough decision to make as members of the Organising Committee were in full swing to welcome all the delegates to the IABSE Symposium, scheduled in May.
