Rigid-flexible coupling simulation and experimental vibration analysis of pistachio tree for optimal mechanized harvesting efficiency

Abstract

To improve the pistachio harvesting rate, the force in the process of the harvest is analyzed, and it is found that the major factors affecting fruit vibration shedding are excitation force-frequency, amplitude and clamping height. The effective range of the vibration frequency is obtained through modal analysis. The rigid-flexible coupling model of the vibration device and tree reveals the response characteristics of the combination point of fruit. The optimal vibration parameters are force amplitude 3000 N, vibration frequency 18 Hz and clamping height 700 mm. After the optimization, the number of fruit trees reaching more than 90% harvest rate increase by 1.46 times.
