Monolayered nitrogen-doped MXene with good dispersion stability in aqueous media was developed, employing the well-studied Ti3AlC2 precursor as a demonstrating example. Along with enhanced electrical conductivity and redox reactivity, the sample exhibited excellent electrochemical performance, 586?F/g at a scan rate of 5?mV/s and capacitance retention of 96.2% after 10?000 cycles.
