Abstract

A list of 23 species of invertebrates damaging foliage of introduced Rosaceae plants in the Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden-Institute is compiled, including data on their activity periods, harmful stages, and damage rate. Most of the pests are characterized by low migration activity of adults, relatively low fecundity, and stable population numbers. The largest part of the Rosaceae collection is resistant to pests.
