Daily Dynamics of Lipids and Fatty Acids and the Activity of Enzymes of Energy and Carbohydrate Metabolism in Young Fish of the Daubed Shanny Leptoclinus maculates (Fries, 1838) at Different Stages of Development in Polar Night Conditions

A comparative study into the daily dynamics of the lipid and fatty-acid profile and the level of energy metabolism was conducted for the first time in young fishes of the daubed shanny L2, L3, L4, L4*, L5 stages of development, which are links of pelagic (L2, L3, L4) and benthic (L4, L4*, L5) food chain) from Kongs Fjord Bay in polar night conditions. Daily dynamics of lipid components and the activity of anaerobic exchange enzymes can be considered as one of the mechanisms of genetically determined ontogenetic and environmentally oriented phenotypic heterogeneity of the life strategy of the species, which is aimed at maintaining its existence in specific environmental conditions and adaptation to them at different levels of life organization.
