The number of exhibition halls in traditional museums cannot meet the actual needs: the looseness of exhibits, the limitations of time and space. Chinese classical furniture is exquisite in workmanship, beautiful in shape and exquisite in pattern. It carries many kinds of information about the Chinese people’s lifestyle, ideology and value orientation. In order to improve the exhibition effect of Chinese classical furniture and expand its dissemination channels, this article designs a digital reality application system of Chinese classical furniture based on virtual reality. It summarizes the methods, processes and specifications for the development of related works. It has certain reference value for the application of virtual reality simulation technology in the field of cultural heritage inheritance.
