A visible‐light‐catalyzed radical N‐acylation of amines with carboxylic acids was achieved by means of eosin Y as the photocatalyst under aqueous medium without any transition‐metal‐based catalytic systems. The new method takes advantages of visible‐light photocatalysis to generate the amides under mild conditions. A variety of amides have been synthesized in good to excellent yields. Moreover, the strategy was successfully applied in the preparation of paracetamol.
