Christian Knittl-Frank received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Vienna in Austria in 2015 and completed his master’s degree in 2018 after working on C−H activation in natural product synthesis with Nuno Maulide. He is currently a doctoral student at the University of Vienna and a fellow of the “MolTag” doctoral program. Within this program, he aims to develop new molecular entities targeting ion channels under the supervision of Nuno Maulide. His current research comprises modification of terpene natural products and synthetic methodology.
