Analyzing the piezoelectric rings resonance modes for bandwidth ultrasonic transducers

This paper begins by introducing various vibrational modes in disc piezoelectric devices and calculating their electrical properties. The measurement results of the composite and ceramic samples were compared and after verifying the results, the outputs were evaluated. In this study the analytical methods were applied to electrical characteristics in this type of electrical follower, leading to the desired electrical relations. The aforementioned relationships were ultimately used in a pre-construction simulation process, and their results were utilized to increase the accuracy and simplicity of the process of manufacturing acoustic transducers. An important feature of this method of predicting electro-acoustic characteristics is the ability to accurately determine the resonance frequency with respect to the dimensions of the bars and the piezoelectric materials very fast. In addition, with the precise formulation, the effect of different parameters on the electrical characteristics of the piezocomposite can be easily assessed.
