Transport in (4 + 1)-D-dimensional topological insulators models

Abstract In this paper, we investigate the continuum longitudinal conductivity σ x x r e g ( ω ) in the neighborhood of the phase transition of the topological charge in topological insulators models in (4+1)-D dimensions employing the Kubo formalism of the linear response theory. We analyze the effect of the topological phase transition of the sudden variation of the second Chern number Q 2 on AC conductivity in higher dimensions.
