A month after the online publication of our article, several nomenclatural issues were brought to our attention. First, we realized the existence of Eremiolirion J.C.Manning & F.Forest (in Bothalia 35(2): 117. 2005) in Tecophilaeaceae, which resembles the newly described Eremolirion Nic.García (in Taxon 68(3): 494. 2019) in Amaryllidaceae. Given that these names have identical Greek derivations and that they are so similar that they are likely to be confused (Art. 53.2), it is necessary to give a replacement name for the latter:

Etymology. – Reference to the coastal locality of Paposo in the Chilean region of Antofagasta, where this species is a characteristic component of fog oases.

All instances where Eremolirion appears in our article, particularly in the key to genera of Hippeastreae, Figure 1 and Table 1, should be replaced by the new name Paposoa.

Second, we gave replacement names that in three cases were illegitimate and superfluous. We have now reconsidered the synonymy for these three taxa and for one other, and, consequently, proceed to perform the correct combinations given the earliest legitimate epithets available in Zephyranthes Herb. (Art. 11.4). In the first case, the replacement name was superfluous, even if Habranthus mendocinus Phil. (in Anales Univ. Chile 21: 406. 1862) was not considered a later synonym of Habranthus gilliesianus (Herb.) M.Roem. (Fam. Nat. Syn. Monogr. 4: 98. 1847), because the combination of H. mendocinus into Zephyranthes Herb. (Appendix: 36. 1821) would have not been a later homonym of Zephyranthes mendocensis Baker (Handb. Amaryll.: 36. 1888), given the definition of a homonym in Art. 53.1 and that it is not possible to consider these epithets (i.e., mendocinus vs. mendocensis) sufficiently alike to be confused (Art. 53.2). Additionally, we provide full synonymies for these four species:

Finally, we would like to correct the citation for one of the synonyms of Zephyranthes pedunculosa (Herb.) Nic.García & S.C.Arroyo (in Taxon 68(3): 488, 493. 2019). Considering that Hippeastrum tubispathum Pax (in Bot. Jahrb. Syst. 11: 329. 1889) is an illegitimate later homonym of Hippeastrum tubispathum Baker (in J. Bot. 16: 82. 1878), it cannot provide a basionym according to Art. 6.10 & 49.1. Therefore, the citation of this synonym should be:
