Development and Study of High-Strength Corrosion-Resistant Steel for Bearing Components

The chemical composition of high-strength corrosion-resistant steel of the martensitic class with an ultra- high nitrogen content is developed. Regimes for melting and electroslag remelting under pressure and hot deformation regimes are developed for this steel. Different heat treatment regimes providing the required hardness (durability) after annealing and after hardening heat treatment are investigated. Steel microstructure after different heat treatment regimes is studied.
