On the construction of uninorms on bounded lattices

Abstract Recently, construction methods for uninorms on bounded lattices have been studied widely. In this paper, we present two different methods for constructing uninorms on an appropriate bounded lattice with a fixed neutral element e, which is different from the top and bottom elements by using the knowledge of the existence of triangular norms and triangular conorms on bounded lattices. By using these constructions, we obtain idempotent uninorms on an appropriate bounded lattice. Also, we investigate the relation between introduced methods and some other approaches.
