In Reply We thank Puusepp-Benazzouz and Bhurawala and Granild-Jensen et al for their interest in our work1 on long-term risk of epilepsy, psychiatric disorders, and mortality in children with recurrent febrile seizures. In this study, we reported a 30-year cumulative risk of any psychiatric disorder of 17.2% (95% CI, 17.2-17.3) in the overall population, 21.4% (95% CI, 21.0%-21.9%) following a first febrile seizure, 25.0% (95% CI, 24.0%-26.1%) following a second febrile seizure, and 29.1% (95% CI, 27.2%-31.0%) following a third febrile seizure.
