A series of well-defined stereoregular cyclic p-tolyl-siloxanes have been obtained as promising reagents for the synthesis functionalized derivatives. The method is well scalable and allows one to obtain target products on a gram scale (≈10 g) in 57–62% yields. The structure of the compounds has been confirmed by complex physico-chemical methods of analysis: IR, ESI-HRMS, GPC, 1D and 2D 1H, 13C, 29Si NMR experiments, and X-Ray diffraction.
