Abstract We give unified proofs of the well-known Holder regularity of locally bounded solutions to parabolic equations with structures modeled after the parabolic p-Laplace equation and the porous medium equation. This approach is based on expansion of positivity. The proofs make no use of logarithmic energy estimates.
