Abstract

Semi-organic lithium hydrogen phthalate dihydrate crystal has been grown using a slow evaporation solution growth technique. It belongs to the orthorhombic crystal system. The nucleation cure is calculated for different temperatures. The various intermolecular interactions were found out using Hirshfeld surfaces. The vibrational analysis was affirmed using FTIR and FT-Raman spectra. The lithium hydrogen phthalate dihydrate has good transmittance in the UV–Vis–NIR region. The decomposition happens in various stages. The etch pit was determined using the water solvent. The surface damage happens due to the decomposition of the crystal.
