Na‐O2?batteries have attracted extensive research attentions due to their high theoretical energy density and energy efficiency. A variety of carbon materials have been developed with the aim of improving the Na‐O2?battery performance, and the roles that carbon materials play are evolving from a sole air electrode to functional core components in Na‐O2?batteries.
