本期封面文章来自卜显和院士、庞建东研究员团队的综述文章:Recent progress in metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) for electrocatalysis。该图以MOFs为主体,其中流过的闪电效果代表电催化作用,MOFs将N₂和H2O小分子原料通过电催化在孔道、金属、配体或整体框架位点转化成NH3,H2和O2等高价值产物。激光效果由弱变强,代表了电子转移大大增强,传质速率加快以及导电性的提升,这与文章所表达的如何从微观上提升MOFs电催化性能的理念相呼应。该综述为MOFs在电催化领域的应用提供了新思路,加深了对MOFs和电催化之间构效关系的认识。

本期封底文章来自李映伟教授、陈立宇教授团队的文章:Hierarchically ordered porous carbon with atomically dispersed cobalt for oxidative esterification of furfural。构筑具有高本征活性和高活性位点密度的单原子催化剂是提升催化性能的重要手段。本文通过热解大孔/微孔双金属MOF制备了具有三维有序大孔结构的碳载CoN₄位点的单原子催化剂,并首次用于生物质升级。三维有序大孔碳为单原子催化剂搭建了畅通无阻的“宽车道高速路”,有效促进反应分子的传质并提高活性位点的可及性,在糠醛氧化酯化反应中,获得高达99%的2-糠酸甲酯收率,显著优于其它对比材料。为发展有序多级孔碳锚定单原子催化剂提供了有益的探索。
