郭骏杰博士，香港城市大学化学系助理教授，从事核酸化学及核酸生物学研究，主要研究方向为RNA生物学、化学生物学、G-四链体及核酸适配体。近年来以第一或共同第一作者在Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Communication, Nature Protocols, Angew Chem，Chemical Science等杂志发表一系列研究成果，并荣获 “ Royal society international exchange fellowship”、“Croucher innovation award”、“CityU president award” 等奖项。此外，他还作为通讯作者受邀撰写了多篇综述和专题文章，发表在Trends in biochemical sciences、Trends in biotechnology、Nature plants、Cold spring harbor perspectives in biology 等著名期刊。自2016年开始，实验室便与众多国内外知名大学（剑桥大学、牛津大学、清华大学,、新加坡国立大学、中山大学、香港大学和香港中文大学等）建立长期合作项目。更多详情请访问实验室网站：http://kitkwok.com

Prof. Chun Kit Kwok is currently recruiting highly talented researchers to join the lab. Dr. Kwok, an assistant professor of Chemistry Department in City University of Hong Kong, is an expert in nucleic acid chemistry and biology. Recently he has published a series of research articles in prestigious journals including Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Communications, Nature Protocols, Genome Biology, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and Chemical Science. In addition, he has obtained many awards owing to his excellent research including Royal Society International Exchange Fellowship, Croucher Innovation Award, CityU President Award, and etc. Also, he has been invited to write reviews and feature articles as corresponding author for prestigious journals such as Trends in Biochemical Sciences, Trends in Biotechnology, Nature Plants, Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives in Biology, etc. Since 2016, Prof. Kwok's lab has established many collaboration projects with prestigious Universities (Cambridge University, Oxford University, Tsinghua University, National University of Singapore, Sun Yat-sen University, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and etc.). Our research focus is to develop chemical and biochemical technologies to decipher the hidden layers of information in RNA such as RNA structures; identify the RNA binding partners and molecular basis of interactions; and elucidate the mechanistic roles of RNA in regulatory pathways, stress physiologies, cell differentiation, organism development, as well as disease pathology.

Research Themes：

3) Aptamer and next generation sequencing methods development

Candidates with excellent computational skills in transcriptomics and related areas will be considered for the bioinformatician postdoc post.  

Candidates with excellent molecular biology, chemical biology, and/or biochemistry will be considered for the RNA biologist postdoc post.

Qualified candidates should have accomplished their Ph.D. degree and have strong written and spoken english.

Expected salary: 24000-33000 HKD/month depending on research experience, publications, and qualifications
