专辑信息（Special issue information）:
Underground infrastructure, such as tunnels and pipelines, is critical to urban resilience, yet aging-induced deterioration increasingly threatens its reliability. Addressing these challenges, preventive maintenance has emerged as a pivotal field, driven by advances in smart technologies, including distributed sensing, AI-driven analytics, and digital twins, which are rapidly transforming predictive maintenance and asset management. This special issue seeks to highlight innovative strategies enhancing the longevity and performance of underground infrastructure. We invite high-quality original research, reviews, and case studies focused on, but not limited to:
- Innovative maintenance practices
- Novel sensing and monitoring technologies
- AI and data analytics for damage prediction and risk assessment
