PhD students from the research group participated in the 4th National Soil Remediation Conference
发布时间:2025-12-03

Recently, doctoral students Zilong Li and Changxiong Zou from the research group went to Nanjing, Jiangsu to participate in the Fourth National Soil Remediation Conference. The conference, themed "Soil Remediation and Green Development," brought together experts, scholars, business representatives, and relevant practitioners in the field of soil remediation from home and abroad to exchange cutting-edge progress, innovative achievements, and practical experience in soil pollution prevention and remediation technology.

During the conference, two students actively participated in this academic event. Dr. Zilong Li gave a detailed introduction to the latest research achievements of his research group in heavy metal pollution control - ultra stable mineralization technology - to the attending experts and scholars during the conference poster presentation. This technology achieves efficient and long-term fixation of various heavy metals in water and soil by forming stable and low solubility mineral phases. It has the advantages of low treatment cost, good environmental compatibility, and strong applicability, which has attracted widespread attention and heated discussions among scholars attending the conference.

Through this conference, the two students not only showcased the research accumulation of their research group in the fields of ultra stable mineralization and heavy metal remediation, but also took this opportunity to have in-depth exchanges with peers and broaden their academic horizons.

In recent years, the research team has continuously encouraged students to participate in high-level academic exchange activities and actively supported them to step out of campus and into academic forefront settings. The participation of the two students this time also reflects the continuous efforts of the research group in cultivating students' scientific research literacy and broadening their academic horizons. Looking forward to more students actively participating in academic exchanges in the future, showcasing the research style and innovative vitality of the research group!
