We are pleased to announce that one of the outstanding Ph.D. students from the Advanced Structural Thin Film Materials and Technology Research Group has been selected for the inaugural CAST Youth Talent Lifting Program for Doctoral Students. This prestigious program aims to provide exceptional doctoral students with a platform for academic development, exposure, and career advancement.


About the CAST Youth Talent Lifting Program
The CAST Youth Talent Lifting Program for Doctoral Students, launched in September 2024 by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), is a significant initiative that supports high-potential young researchers under 30 in the fields of science, engineering, agriculture, and medicine. This program focuses on senior doctoral students in universities and research institutions, providing them with academic funding, organizational integration, and opportunities for academic collaborations and part-time academic positions.

A total of 3226 doctoral students nationwide have been selected in the first batch of the program, which runs from January 2025 to December 2026. The selected students will benefit from various resources that help them broaden their horizons, enhance their research capabilities, and accelerate their professional development.


Significance of the Program
The program plays a key role in accelerating the cultivation of innovative young scientific talents by offering targeted support for doctoral students.
