The first PhD student Yuling Yuan in the Ma Group, cosupervised by Prof Yimeng Ma and Prof Hong Xu, passed her PhD defence on 20-02-2025, with flying colours. Well done Yuling. Celebration will be followed in late March.

To show how much care Yimeng did, he put on a shirt - rather than just a random funny-shirt without collar, following the advise at the SFSC in Sept 2024 by Prof James Durrant at Imperial College London.
