Dr. Yong Liu previously held the position of postdoctoral research fellow at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was an esteemed member of the Group of Ultrafast Quantum Control at Central South University, where he was supervised by Prof. Zhigang Sun and Prof. Chuancun Shu. He successfully obtained his Bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees in atomic and molecular physics from Dalian University of Technology. Since 2013, Dr. Liu has been fully devoted to his postdoctoral research in the field of quantum control of molecules, focusing particularly on the theoretical aspects and harnessing the capabilities of ultrafast laser pulses. In 2021, he embarked on a new role as a lecturer in the School of Physics at Dalian University of Technology.
